With Love from Mendocino

Thank you all so much for all the kind comments on last weeks Wedding Week series. I initially wanted to blog pre-wedding but I wasn't quite ready for it at the time. However it has been so nice to share all the hard work that went into planning (while sparing y'all some drama!).

We wound up going to Mendocino for our one year anniversary. A far cry from my more grandiose ideas but just as gorgeous. Originally we wanted to go to Carmel but due to the annual National Poodle Convention (w-t-f) we had to scratch those plans because we could not find anywhere to stay!

However it all worked out and we drove up the coast to arrive at the Heritage House Resort which had just reopened after being closed for five years.
