sheets // rod // crib skirt // rug
You saw a lot of this in my last post for inspiration but now that we know it's a girl the real vision board is starting to coming alive. I think the hardest part of all this is we are not certain of where we will be living. I'm crossing every part of my body in hopes that we move to a larger space (we're currently in a two bedroom home) but if not we will make it work. The bummer would be losing the guest bedroom especially when I am hoping family will come in and help me!
I have fallen in love with the crib from RH&B as well and I am trying to find something similar with a smaller price tag. However since we are not purchasing that gorgeous Room&Board dresser you see above and instead buying one on Craigslist and refinishing it, I don't mind shelling out a little more for the crib.
I've jumped the gun a little but I have already started registering, this way when we head to the store in April it won't be as daunting. Also I already own the curtains above and currently have them hung in our family room. However my husband has never really liked them so I am going to relocate them into the nursery. Win/Win.
Anything I am missing (aside from the obvious of changing pad and all that)? Any recommendations for must have's for the little's bedroom?
And seriously I went to link the lamp and it's sold out...it better come back into stock!!
My nephew-to-be has a RH crib and it's amazing. Such a great investment, especially if you plan on having more... :) I love that little print!
ReplyDeleteLaura this is so absolutely adorable! That skirting? The soft colors!? SWOON! (I'm shouting congrats across the office today for that little girl!!) All you need is a shiny soft metallic monogram somewhere haha :)
ReplyDeleteI'm totally copying you when I have my baby girl, because I've already decided when I do get pregnant I will be having a girl. I love this nursery! The white crib, the light pink and grey, I love it all!
ReplyDeleteHaha Ally I always tell my husband we are only having girls! He loves that! Also loving this nursery and will be copying this one day Laura!
DeleteYou are on the ball!! Smart of you to get things done early on - especially when you have more energy!! It will look so pretty!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite color combo! Love the neutrals with the soft pink for a little girls room! Great picks!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet Laura! Love it all! We have the frayed ruffle collection for RH and love it! If you're planning on buying multiple things to match try to get it all in store. We got the bedding, rug and stroller blanket all in that soft pink and they didn't match- the rug and blanket were a much brighter pink! I called RH and they said they have different manufactures make different products. Totally let me exchange and we swapped for a white rug, etc but it would have been much easier in store! Also- we ended up finding a cute crib and Little Castle glider and ottoman at Buy Buy Baby- print off those 20% off coupons! So excited for you! :)
ReplyDeleteLove this all! It's so pretty!! I think the mobile and the mercury glass will be perfect with that room :)
ReplyDeleteSo girly and sweet! And dear lord you can never get that registry checked off the list early enough!
ReplyDeleteLOVE that fabric mobile! We made a fabric banner for my sister's bridal shower, and I fell in love with it. I want them all over my house. I love all of your inspiration ideas...you'll be coming down to So Cal when I'm expecting to decorate our nursery. I'll pay you with free babysitting ;)
ReplyDeleteOhmygoodness this is like the sweetest nursery ever. I cannot wait to see the finished product! And I may totally steal that mobile idea from you if we end up with a baby girl :-)
ReplyDeletei know this is supposed to be for the little gal, but can this be my room instead?!
ReplyDeleteLove love love this, so pretty & chic!!! xo
ReplyDelete"Litte Lady P" = the absolute cutest thing I've heard all day!! :)
ReplyDeleteLove these ideas! The mercury glass is a great touch and I hope that lamp comes back in stock for you!! :(
Does the crib change into a toddler, then proper bed? I've heard so many parents say they were so happy they got convertible cribs! One piece of furniture that doesn't need replaced as the babe grows! xx
I love your inspiration, exactly the kind of nursery I'd want for a little girl. I can't wait to see what you actually do!
ReplyDeleteSo soft and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI have so many nurseries pinned but it's under a private tab....don't want to scare Mark ;-) Just like I had Wedding stuff under a private one....luckily I can start pinning those in freedom now lol
ReplyDeleteLove love love the mobile! Looks so easy too! Love all of your inspiration.
ReplyDeleteIt's perfect! LOVED the mobile! Super cute! Keep us posted on how it all comes together!
ReplyDeletelove this inspiration board! everything is so pretty! xo jillian - cornflake dreams
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, oh my goodness, oh my goodness!!! I love this! So gorgeous, classic and beautiful. Love the colors, love the details, love it all! I can't wait to see how it all comes together!! Eeeek!! So excited for you guys!
ReplyDeleteLove all of these details!! Love the pink and gray- I love how feminine yet neutral this is. I used to say I wouldn't want pink in a girls nursery but now that I have a boy and have zero pink in my life I think if I ever have a girl she will totally have pink in her room!! I'm swooning over that dresser for myself ;)
ReplyDeleteOh and I meant to say that one of my girlfriends has that rocker and she LOVES it!
ReplyDeleteI love the soft colors. It's relaxing but still very pretty
ReplyDeleteI love your inspiration! I can't wait to see how it all comes together. The mobile is just precious :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing my print, Laura!! Yay for a baby girl!! THEY. ARE. THE. BEST. I'm a little biased. ;) xo
ReplyDeleteEverything about this is amazing! Love the colors you chose and the mobile idea is gorgeous! I have some must-haves on my blog under favorites for registry, etc if you need some ideas :) For our nursery we loved or nice cozy chair, offi lamp (for just a little bit of light) and tons of other things. These little kiddos just require so much! =)
