So far this is a smattering of what I have for my vision board for the nursery. I think I am going to get started on it the week I begin maternity leave - which is 4 weeks before little lady is due. I keep waffling back and forth between the rug pictured above (a steal of a deal from Target for 79.99) or this rug from Pottery Barn Kids.
I saw the floor sample for sale last Saturday and I am sort of kicking myself for not purchasing it.
I am also unsure on the floor pouf - I think something lighter and furrier might be more fun in the space. Obviously I will also have a changing pad and all that good stuff but I am excited to see it begin to come together! The chair pictured above is the one we purchased from Buy Buy Baby - it's very comfortable. Although not as gorgeous as the Pottery Barn Kids wingback it was a good compromise.
What do you all think of either rug? Too busy? Should I go for a solid instead? Or should I drive 45 minutes away tonight and see if that floor sample is still available?

That is going to be one beautiful nursery! My vote is the Target rug. I love them both but for some reason I am drawn to the Target one. The quatrefoil design to me goes better with the lamp and the other lines in the room. But that is just my opinion!
ReplyDeleteUsually I'm a fan of everything pottery barn but I prefer the target rug! I'm loving your design board!
ReplyDeleteYes I think the Target rug looks great, but I do like your idea of going with a more feminine furry pouf! I think it will add a lot to the room. I can't remember where I have seen them...Z galleria maybe? Good luck. It looks fab!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the color scheme. Can't wait to see how it comes together! xx
ReplyDeleteI second what everyone else says - I love the color scheme!! I really like the target rug personally...
ReplyDeleteLove everything about it. Very girly, glamorous, and I do like the rug from Target!
ReplyDeleteLoving this inspiration board! I am all about pink and gray.
ReplyDeletetarget rug!
ReplyDeleteI really like the Target rug! Everything is super cute and the chair you picked looks perfect!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I really love the Target rug! Everything looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love this entire vision board. While I love the PB rug, that Target one is super cute and a great price!
ReplyDeleteI love the target rug too!!!! I think it has a more feminine look and goes better with the dresser!! Love the nursery!!!! One lucky baby right there!
ReplyDeleteI think the Target rug looks great! A tad bit more feminine! :)
ReplyDeleteLove all these picks! Both rugs are great - definitely think the Target one is more feminine and a "fluffy" poof would be so cute!! And I love the color scheme! One of my bffs has been trying to be more neutral and not to buy too much gender specific stuff since she plans on having another babe shortly after her first (which is going to be a girl), so if it's a boy the second time around she wants to be able to reuse things and not have tons of girly/pink things! ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your taste - mini is going to be living it up in style for sure! I say get the Target rug because between a baby and a dog, you won't be TOO upset over stains!?
ReplyDeleteThe rug is a nice idea. I like the scalloped?! one best. And the floor pouf?! is super cute but not very functional... Love the softness of all your picks, and the color scheme and the feminine touch!
ReplyDeletecould you call first and see if it is available?
ReplyDeleteI love it all.
ReplyDeletePinning this for my future baby's room.
I'm in LOVE!!!! Perfect little girls room <3
ReplyDeleteI love the first rug in the collage of items!
ReplyDeleteI've been in love with that PB rug, but nowhere right to put it. But I think the Target one is your collage looks wonderful all together! As does the glider - which looks really comfy, and that's what's really important! ;)

My answer is Target all the way - seriously that is what jumped out at me (besides all of the other amazingly gorge stuff) but loving that rug. And loving it more because it's from Target! Can't wait to see the space when it's finished!
ReplyDeleteI love what you're doing with the nursery, I can't wait to see it completed. I think the Target rug is a steal!
