I have read some parenting books and downloaded some apps in my time as a mom. But how on earth did I skip the 18 month sleep regression part? We have always put P to bed anywhere from 8-9pm and she usually has gone down relatively easy. Until now...she goes in her crib at 8 and parties in there until past 11! While I know this is just a phase it's throwing me for a loop, especially because I had no idea it was on its way.
While P babbles in her crib I am watching The Bachelor and cringing equally over Jubilee and Olivia. Yikes - women like this should not go on television. On a related but unrelated note the jacket Olivia is wearing when she gets the rose is this one. I know this because I have been searching for the perfect black faux leather jacket for weeks now. I have this one on it's way to me but I have a feeling it may be too "bikerish" for me. I'll try it out and report back.
Is it Friday yet?
No but it is 10:04 and my daughter is wide awake....it's going to be a long night. I also just realized it's groundhog day and the meaning is not lost on me.

I remember that sleep regression. I hope she gets back to her normal schedule soon. At least she's happy while in there for hours when she should be sleeping. She could be sceaming the whole time. Just trying to spin the positive. :)
ReplyDeleteseems like we just went through an 11/12 month sleep regression. Nope, just teething... yet again. I'm watching the Bachelor right now and it just kills me. I agree, some woman shouldn't be on television.... but then those are the ones that make good television.
ReplyDeleteUgh, sleep regressions are so tough! Although my babies never ever recover from the 4 month sleep regression, so I've just accepted the fact that I will never sleep.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry friend - for some reason, we didn't have that regression!! Hope it is over soon.
ReplyDeleteDying that we can't watch the Bachelor now x
can they go through that sleep regression early!? wah. I feel like my 16 month old is totally having some weird sleep ish happening and its really throwing me for a loop. Hope yours gets better soon!
ReplyDeleteGirl, YES! Jubilee and Olivia. Ugh. I was so happy he sent Jubilee home and am hoping he takes Olivia's rose away! I hate to be continued...
ReplyDeleteI want to see this jacket!!
ReplyDeleteHope P gets back to her sleep schedule soon! I've given up on sleep. I've accepted that I will (maybe) get sleep in a couple of years! :(
ReplyDeleteShe is such a cutie and getting so big!
ReplyDeleteI actually love Jubilee! I think because she has an anxiety disorder and so do I so I totally get why she does the things she does and it makes me laugh. Olivia is unbearable.
